Retired from full-time teaching, I now teach Mathematics on a part-time basis at Chabot College.

I am now a professional income tax preparer certified as an I.R.S. Enrolled Agent


My outside interests include choral and solo singing, musical theater, bicycling, and cross country skiing.
I have sung with a number of groups including the San Francisco Symphony Chorus,
and regularly perform with various community choirs, churches and theatre groups.

My husband is a retired Technical Writer, who now is a ceramics artist (potter) who sells regularly around the Bay Area.

My older son (UCSC Computer and Information Science graduate) is a Senior Software Engineer for Computer Associates in
Portland, Oregon

My daughter-in-law (Chabot alumna and CSU East Bay Magna Cum Laude honors graduate in Computer Science) also works for Tektronix as a Software Engineer. She is well-known in
Oregon state politics in the Democratic party as a county chairwoman.

My younger son (Chabot alumnus, SFSU graduate, M.A. in Environmental Policy from George Washington University) works as a software sales manager in San Francisco.
